Pandemic Reality Contest

Whole world was faced Corona pandemic situation. The Coronavirus has affected more than 150 countries globally. The world has not seen a health crisis of such proportions in a long time.

The coming days will be crucial, and India needs, along with all that is being planned and done, more luck on its side to handle any outbreak of larger proportion. Everyone infected requires to be quarantined, either at home or at a medical facility but people with severe symptoms need to be hospitalised. The fight against coronavirus essentially comes down to the availability of hospital beds and ventilators.

Hospital beds, ICU and ventilator facilities available in India are too inadequate to manage any sudden spurt in demand, particularly if concurrent emergencies are underway. India’s 1.2 million government hospital beds are heavily skewed towards urban areas with hugely disparate distribution across states.

We decided to create ideas through india’s rich professional architects to overcome this situation. So we conducted a competition called PANDEMIC REALITY -Concept & Design Contest.  A lot of great ideas came up in the category of Architectural Design for pandemic earth.
